Though I still have a lot to learn, I'm primarily interested in making documentary film about cultural artifacts - food, music, stories - and how they are preserved or forgotten with time.

Songs of Our Grandmothers

My most recent project explores the role that music played in the lives of six elderly immigrants from the former Soviet Union. The film was funded by the UJA-Federation of New York and Genesis Philanthropy group, as part of the COJECO Blueprint Fellowship. As the next step, I plan to broaden the scope and interview elderly immigrants from a variety of backgrounds.

One Last Poem

A short film about my grandmother, who suffers from dementia, and the last poem she remembers.

A short sci-fi film I made with a friend about a future where people no longer sleep.
